Somedays I literally feel like Dr. Phil. I have friends, people I haven't talked to in forever, sometimes even complete strangers if I'm willing to engage in a conversation at the time. Everyone seems to enjoy telling me about their relationships, past and present, and how (for the most part) They are just not going according to plan. Strange thing Is, I absolutely *love* Relationships, and I love Love. My heart literally soars when someone opens up, and starts talking about the things that they usually keep locked up inside their heart.

Things that most people won't even admit to themselves, much less another human being. And if they do tell someone, it's always their significant other, not some other guy. Problem is, people are designed for this kind of intimacy. Live Uncensored. There is something that happens spiritually in two peoples hearts whenever they both show who they truly are. Most people think that they will be completely rejected if they let someone in that much, or that they will be labeled a freak, or total nut, or whatever. Well, as shocking as this might be to some people. You aren't the only one who is a total nut. Most people are, even the ones who seem to have it all together, they are usually the biggest nuts.

Intimacy is born between two people when both people share what is truly in their hearts and don't water it down, or try and dress it up. It is what it is, True, Honest, and Raw. Because in all honesty, when we water ourselves down to try and make ourselves more "palatable" for others to take, all we are doing is sacrificing the Intimacy that we could be having, for a fake intimacy that comes when people think that they know us.

I'm not saying that absolutely every person will accept you for who you are. People Judge, are bitter, have had bad experiences, etc... But one thing you can't afford to do in this life, is sell yourself short when it comes to connecting with others. Creating deep connections of the heart is how we emotionally and spiritually thrive. God is totally among those who are Raw, and Honest with both Him, and with other people.

I know people who literally come at relationships from the point of view "What Can I get out of this" or "What benefit does this relationship have for me?", and I'm here to tell you boys and girls, thats just downright wrong and unloving. Relationships are about what you GIVE, not what you can GET. Love doesn't GET, Love GIVES. Always.

Live life uncensored. Be real with people, and they will be real with you. True Intimacy with your loved one, with your friends, family, and God are all within your reach. It all starts when you stop pretending to live your life, and just Live life the way that you are.
